There is no easy way to put this so I’m just going to blurt it out. I have breast cancer. I was first diagnosed last year just after the pandemic hit which made it easy to hibernate and deal with it on my own terms. I beat it back then and I’m going to beat it once again. Good news is it’s early stages so I am finishing up treatment soon and won’t be needing chemo... Bad news is I need to get a double mastectomy. Ugh. Fuck. 💔 I’m still in shock and trying to wrap my head around the heaviness of losing both of my boobs. I’ve been avoiding this post for awhile now but figured I need the support now more than ever.
