Had myself a fun little row and lift session yesterday. Kicked things off with @ashocenergy to keep my energy levels high for this big session. Loving how these two work together. Legs were trashed after this one (in the best possible way 😉). I’ve been in a little bit of a lifting slump since my hernia repair this last spring but it’s made me realize how much I need partial reps with heavy weight (for me anyways) to be at my strongest. Getting back to heavy partials now and beginning to feel my strength of old return. Also had to cut back on the running. As much as I’d love to both run and get stronger at the same time I find that these two are usually at odds with each other. My experience has been that if the running is getting better than usually I’m losing some strength and visa versa. Nature of a marathoners genetics I suppose.
