Taking Action Against Destructive Tuna Fishing Practices in Bangkok At the 17th IndoFish World Tuna Trade Conference and Exhibition in Bangkok (Thailand) this week, Shark Guardian volunteers and activists assembled to protest the unsustainable fishing practices which take place in the tuna fishing industry. The global tuna industry is the number one supplier of shark fin to Chinese markets in Asia & shark markets in western countries and contributes therefore to the decline of shark populations.
