✨laundry room progress report✨ It’s been 4 months since we started turning our large playroom into two new rooms— the laundry room and a future bunk room on the other side of this space. I can almost see the finish line, especially now that the machines are in place (leaving our old laundry room an empty shell)!! The first thing I said was—this looks so motivating!! 😅 Which was exactly what I set out to do when designing this space. How can I design a laundry room that can make my least favorite chore a little more pleasurable? This is it. That center stack of cabinetry needs to come out. We settled on a soapstone-esque countertop that will be carried up the backsplash. We had the creamy cabinet paint color color-matched to carry onto baseboard and crown molding. Got something fun planned for the uppers in the middle. The renovation end is near, but I got a load in already, because even when the laundry room is done...we all know the laundry will never be. 😏 #cljlaundryroom
