CHEFS PORTRAIT - MAX BOONTHANAKIT & LIJO GEORGE of @camphorla I never had the chance to visit Nightshade (a pandemic restaurant casualty ~ RIP) so upon walking into the space, I wouldn't know that this wasn't its optimal set up. It felt exciting - a place where the food would swamp your senses and probably look IG triggering. Both chefs met at Alain Ducasse's Blue (Bangkok) and with the tool kit of high level french technique, the backdrop of Southeast Asia, and their own personal background, I'm thinking it's going to taste exciting and bright. Can't wait to eat here, but in the meantime, I'll settle for imaging what it would taste like - and these portraits. 📸 for @zagat
