Thank you Meredith🤍🫶🏻🎓 My journey at Meredith started 5 years ago as a senior in high school. I remember touring campus and falling completely in love with it. I even met my big sis that day ( @ngbrownie ☺️). A week later I said yes to Meredith and met my roommate soon after (little did I know she’d become my best friend and I’d be in her wedding ( @carolinehawley7 🤍). I was all set and ready to go, but God had greater plans. Right before graduating high school I had my car accident. Paralyzed and now a wheelchair user, I didn’t think college would be a possibility. With the accident happening in May, there was no way I could start school in the fall. I was so worried I’d get behind. But Meredith didn’t give up on me. As soon as my admissions advisor heard about the accident, she ensured me that they would accommodate me whenever I decided to start. She and a few other staff members even went the extra mile and visited me while I was still in the hospital. After taking 1 year in between to recover, I was ready. I can’t thank Meredith and their amazing Disability Services Staff ( @carolynkoning ) enough for everything they’ve done to make sure I’ve had the best college experience while adapting to this new lifestyle. I’m so grateful for the friendships and memories made that will last a lifetime! Here’s to the next chapter!
