This is how Salon Owners plan for PROFIT. You can't plan for profit without knowing what your profit potential really is. Many salons do not go into business aware of what their profit will be because 1 or more of these steps were missed. They may set revenue goals but don't have the systems in place to protect their potential profit which leads to lower returns. These are the steps you must take to calculate what that really is. The steps are always the same, the combinations and amounts change. Once these numbers make sense for your unique business, you can move forward with a strategy to reach them. The planning is all based on service numbers, although planning for retail will be part of secondary planning and increase your profit.
