What a long crazy ride this has been for all of us. So many great learning lessons and things we all had to unlearn, reevaluate and re-approach to finally get this project out. It’s easy to say ‘this is just the beginning’ and ‘so much more to come’.. but truth be told, this is not the beginning for any of us. Two years ago before the first cover went viral a dozen or so friends joined forces, quit their jobs, and collectively made the bet that Teddy Swims would work. Now we have a multi million person fanbase, our own studio compound, upcoming shows in fucking stadiums and so much more! We all believed it would happen but holy shit is it surreal to be writing this before we even have the first EP out. I am so fucking proud of Jaten and every single person on this team who have worked relentlessly for years to get us to where we are today. Last year when Christoff died I promised him I would work my ass off and not let him down and I can confidently say I have kept that promise. This body of work represents so much more than just these 7 songs to me, it represents everyone on our team, the dream we all had before any of the stars aligned, and all the god damn bullshit we had to get through to finally see this day.
