I’m always grateful to receive hats over the years. And usually I would say...that as long as the restaurant is busy then receiving a hat (or two) is just a bonus. But due to the current climate of our industry in regards to staff shortages and less people entering hospo, these awards mean more than ever. I hope these hats and awards make our staff feel proud of where they work . It’s validation. It’s accomplishment. It brings meaning to why we do what we do.
