"Our journey together didn't start smoothly, as we were fifteen when we fell in love, and there was no place where we could be together. ⁠ ⁠ Most of the time, we needed to pretend that we were just good friends because our parents didn't know, and we were too afraid if they'd found out, they would have kept us apart. ⁠ ⁠ For years we wished to spend every waking moment together, waiting for the time when finally we no longer have to explain why we enjoy each other's company so much.
