One of my facorite things about cooking is how creative I can be. I can start with making one simople meal to then making different renditions of that meal by substituting one thing for another, adding something, taking something out, trying out different flavor combinations, using a different technique to remake the same thing, etc. And this can all be influenced by different recipes or meals I see on tiktok, or ig or a random idea I get, or what ever I have in the fridge. Idk if any of this makes any sense but it’s cool how you can basically end up with so many different flavorful meals in the end. And I’ve been trying to add more veggies and have more variety in my meals and it’s been really fun trying out all these different ideas. This set of meals started with a simple miso ramen with spring onions and ended up with a rice bowl with a mix of veggies (left over bok choy in a chili garlic sauce, bell peppers in a teriyaki sauce, and chopped onions in leftover sauce mix from a few days before), pickled spring onions (using leftover vinegar used to pickle red onions the day before) and a chili fried egg.
