Warp and weft.... Fascinating session with brilliant @humphriesweaving trying to envisage the effect of blending yarns for the weft, as though mixing pigment for a shade of colour. Can’t be confident till one sees the result but that is the great advantage of working with really expert weavers who can produce samples until we arrive at our goal - in this case choosing a weave, pattern and colour ways to unite the tones of C17th oak wainscot with the beautiful new traditional Medallion pattern Ushak being woven by @davidbamfordcarpets #onthesilkroad #onthepaintroad
