I have had many Mother’s Days without my Mom Susan. She is always in my heart and my memories of her always make me smile. This is the first Mother’s Day without my other Mom, my Mother in-law Jacqueline Avant. Her loss is felt everyday. While she was my Mother in-law, she was everything you want a mother to be; inspiring, loving and proud when things went well and supportive when they don’t. On this Mothers Day, I wanted to share this beautiful tribute that my wife Nicole penned for Variety about Jacquie, because it so beautifully captures her spirit and the impact she has had and continues to have on our family and our community.
