Earlier this year, I self-published a book of prose poems that I’d written over the past few years. They were inspired by the poems of James Tate and Louis Jenkins.
I’ve been reluctant to share it, mostly out of fear. But I had fun writing them, and the few people I’ve shared them with have seemed to enjoy reading them. They’re short - most are about a page or just over. And they are hopefully some combination of surreal, whimsical, silly, and sad. I wrote them all on a typewriter initially, almost stream of conscious style. And I posted a few here.
If you’d like a copy, there’s a link in my bio. Or honestly, I have lots of extras, so if Amazon isn’t your thing DM me and I’ll see about shipping out a few batches myself.
Lastly, I want to shout out the amazing cover art, which is by Sara Khan. Follow her at @mindforking for some brilliant, unique art.
And a special thanks to my friend and genius writer @thesarahhepolaexperience for lending a wonderful back-cover blurb.
