For some reason, we thought it was a good idea to actually put this young lad in the trunk and drive around. Hands tied in the back of a car that was so haggard and chopped together by the owner, it’s brand was unrecognizable. We took out the backseat so we could film into the trunk and drove around the property which included winding dirt and gravel roads up and downhill. My favorite part was when we reached the midpoint down the hill - for some reason Doug hollered we needed to stop. So I press down hard into the manual brakes (we take e-brakes for granted) and using all of my strength, prop us on the hill as we adjust camera. Well this lasted about 2 minutes until the brakes gave out. We’re now rolling down the hill back towards the camp, essentially in neutral. For some reason I’m not concerned as I’m pumping the brakes all the way down the hill, and when we have too much momentum to stop where we were supposed to, I just keep rolling to the front yard, and then do a full circle, and then pull right towards the house as the car finally manages to come to a stop.
