A little photo dump of the @uktheatre awards this Sunday just gone. It was a really lovely event and I had an absolute blast with the cherry on top winning Best performance in a musical 2022 For #hedwigandtheangryinch music and lyrics by @stephentrask book by @johncameronmitchell Directed by @jamie_fletcher as a co production with @leedsplayhouse and @homemcr I never really expected to win so I hadn’t prepared a speech (rookie error) and all I know is I’m so grateful to have been given the opportunity and trusted to bring her to life with the amazing team supporting and pouring their absolute best into this show and really that’s who made this happen. Their love, passion and drive made the show such a success. I would dearly love to revisit #hedwig at some point in the future. Till then I will have to settle for having met the legend @arlenephillips who is just phenomenal And Remeeting an absolute hero of mine and possibly one of my favourite ever actor/singer/dancer/comediennes @hatdorable who is just the best.
