AUGUST 31, 2004 - I turned my life over to a god of my understanding, my higher power, and a community that would embrace, and love me until I was able to love myself. A personal voyage, of discovery and recovery. The opportunity to change the course of history, rewrite the codes and break the cycle of addiction. Next to raising my son, this is the most important things i’ve been tasked with, and I do it a day at a time ( sometimes a second at a time ). This journey is fragile, the rewards immense. The lifelong friends, the bad coffee, and the promise of a life beyond my wildest dreams - so much gratitude for this opportunity, and all I had to do was “keep coming back” - 18 years, and never a dull moment ✨ #gratitude 💙
