Without further ado... ✨ Most Visited Directory Profiles ✨ The Crafts Council Directory is a growing database of more than 900 makers. Searchable by specialism and crammed full of UK talent, it’s easy to see why it clocked almost 200,000 views this year alone. From left to right (and in no particular order) these are the top 5 profiles you visited in 2022. Drumroll please... • Hothouse alumni @daliajamesstudio went from strength to strength in 2022 and her work can be found in issue 294 of @craftsmagazine under new talent. • Shout out to @esna_su who also features in Crafts magazine - this time in our new look biannual AW22 issue. The Crafts Council recently acquired one of her soft basket sculptures imbued with themes of identity and memory for our Collection. • Next up it’s @isatuhyde! You might have spotted her work at our @libertylondon pop-up over summer. Isatu specialises in individual and batch, wheel-thrown ceramics to create beautifully designed tableware and cookware. • This year marked a 25-year milestone for textile artist @ptolemymann.art. Spot her hand-dyed woven panels adding a burst of colour to domestic and corporate spaces across the country. • And finally, oddball ceramicist @w31keong caught everyone's attention as his alter-ego Wei-K.
