Do you see what I see?🩻 For the @thebitchfestnyc finale I wanted to channel the anger and frustration I’ve felt towards the constant transphobia I’ve had to face while navigating nightlife and hook up culture. Cis gays have sent me death threats, told me to my face that they were into me until the found out I didn’t have a dick, the list goes on. Trans bodies are looked at as exotic and either fetishized or thrown to the side completely because they only see them as incomplete. For this number I took my victim (who is an angel irl❣️) and made him into the half complete Frankenstein creature he saw me as. I’ve been struggling for years to put myself out there unapologetically and it’s only been recently that I’ve been able to do so. Even with that I still deal with men telling me I’m not real enough for them all because I don’t fit their view of what a man should be. Stop ostracizing trans mascs for what you think they lack and stop fetishizing trans femmes for what they have. Stop telling trans people what you think their bodies should look like in order for you to find them complete enough to fuck them. Let trans bodies of every shape size and color exist without forcing your unwanted opinion on them.
