Ever tried to do one pull-up as slow and controlled as possible? This was my best attempt from the other day.
I would argue that one pull-up done mindfully can have a greater physical stimulus compared to yanking up 10 pull-ups while thinking about what is cooking for dinner. Plus, I love feeling the slow contractions throughout the entire movement. Makes lifting way more fun.
