I gave up red meat for health reasons 9+ years ago. Except McDonald’s cheeseburgers, that took me longer because I’m convinced there’s crack in them. They were harder to give up than all the drugs & alcohol I did. I was sick & suffering my entire life and not a single doctor suggested I change my diet. My family didn’t even think of it. We’re Cuban. Not eating meat was never really a thought, much less an option. It wasn’t til I had a random conversation with a holistic doctor in an elevator that the seed was planted that it could be red meat causing the problem. I saw immediate relief when I stopped eating steak all the time. I had a long list of toxic things to give up at the time but that was a start. Fast forward to today, I’ve been completely vegetarian for a year and a half. My reasons have shifted and are much bigger than my just own physical health. I do it for the world, I do it for the animals, I do it for my own karmic repercussions. Eating animals does not align with my spiritual values in anyway but mostly I do it because it doesn’t make any sense not to. I’ve never been healthier. It’s almost too easy now a days. There’s so many good options. I’m not full vegan, not sure if I’ll ever be. But 90% of the time I am & I am so happy my friends @bobandsuemia finally launched their vegan restaurant in Miami. I ate everything you see me holding in these pics & then some. It’s delicious, like legit SO GOOD. They’re on all the major delivery apps, go check them out! 💖💖 I love you guys! Happy Sunday! 📷 @crea.brands
