as young girl all I wanted was to be an adult but now that I’m an adult, life can feel so incredibly overwhelming and heavy that I find myself nostalgic for younger me... for innocence, for the ability to run to my parents arms when scared, for days without social media, for times when my only was about monsters under my bed. I recognize the privilege of a childhood like this. But more days than not I find myself wishing I could turn back the clock just to be able to appreciate those moments more
