"CIRCONCISION" 7a+ max, 6c obligatoire, Lemurs Wall, Tsaranoro, Madagascar 🇲🇬 🐒 Opened in July 2022 by Jan Novak & Tibau Grandjean @tibo_gj ; bolted with inox FIXE M10x90mm @fixe.climb @woguclimbing 🙏 About month ago, grandfather of 2 years old Davino is organising an epic party "ball poussière" for celebrating traditional circoncision of his small grandson, all the Valley is invited to dance until the sunrise to make this celebration unforgettable... In the same time young woman Jacqueline carries a basket on her head, returned from market to her village Andonaka in Tsaranoro, for first time in her life she got one sip of "toka gasy" local rum, she suddenly slipped on a wet stone, got imbalance and her basket full of onions fallen down which makes a dance floor a bit tricky... Earlier the same day I'm hanging, for very first time, on a small hook suspended on the tiny crimp, shitting to my pants from uncertainty if is going to break/pop out or not, drilling like a hell to setup another bolt on this beautiful Lemurs wall; asking myself 'why I'm doing this' the answer is suprisingly clear & easy: "Evening beer always tastes better when you reach the peak of your physical or mental strength" After all of this (one of the most epic party & climbing adventure) we couln't chose a better name than "Circoncision" which also totaly signified another step in our climbing life ;) Special thanks to @arnaudpetit_climb for meticulous bolting advices 🤟 and Camp Catta for perfect base camp ⛺ @mountainhardwear @ocun.climbing #outsideisthebestside #climbing #rockclimbing #africa #madagascar #tsaranoro
