I passed my first bill! Today, the Council passed, Introduction 56, a bill I first introduced in March. Under Intro 56, the City’s Narcan Behind Every Bar program is codified into law! This means bars and other nightlife establishments now have access to Narcan kits and free Narcan training for their staff. Passing Intro 56 now means more New Yorkers will have access to Narcan and are able to dispense this life saving medication when needed. What happens to a bill after stated?
