Feeding a crowd over the holidays? This sourdough overnight French toast bake with bananas and chocolate chips is a SUPER easy breakfast that serves eight people. It honestly has the taste and texture of bread pudding, but is low in sugar thanks to @lilys_sweets. Their chocolate chips have zero added sugar and they taste amazing! Here’s how to make this overnight French toast bake: • Whisk together 8 large eggs in a mixing bowl. Whisk in 2 cups milk of choice (I used unsweetened soy milk, but you can use almond, oat, or regular milk) and 1 tsp vanilla extract. • Cut up a day old loaf of sourdough bread into 1 inch cubes. Put them in a large mixing bowl. • Add 1⁄4 tsp cinnamon and 1⁄4 tsp salt to the bread. Then add the wet ingredients to the bread. • Use your clean hands to thoroughly mix the bread up, so each piece is soaked in the liquid. • Cover the bowl and put in the fridge overnight. • The next morning, mix in 3 sliced bananas (about 3 cups) and 1⁄2 cup Lily’s chocolate chips. • Grease a 9x13 glass baking dish and transfer the bread mixture into the dish. • Cover with foil and cook for 20 minutes in a 350°F oven. Then uncover and cook for another 25 minutes (45 minutes total). • Cut into 8 pieces and serve with a drizzle of maple syrup and a sprinkle of extra chocolate chips. #EatSweetAndBeMerry #LessSugarSweetLife #ReimagineSweetness #ad
