So, yesterday was my bday.. and for the first time since Myspace days, I didn’t post anything. 32 is supposed to be this “Magic” year, but I live down the street from the Staples Center and Dr. Jerry Buss ass never came!!!😩 As you get older you tend to place these false expectations over your life that are not realistic and they will stress you out!! According to my M.A.S.H. Report in the 7th grade, I was supposed to be a celebrity, living in a mansion and married, with 2 kids by 25 😭! Now see, the 30’s is the part of life where you begin to turn the table around from all of the bad decisions you have ever made in life. Partying days are ending, priorities and responsibilities are piled to the ceiling, marriage and family roles should be formulating, & everything and everyone is placed under a microscope that identifies with the value that they bring into your life. Whew, baby A LOT of pressure, I literally found myself in the adult episode of Euphoria yesterday morning and I ain’t like that oneee bit.. even though I would be that fly ass bih Maddy Perez! However, this year has been the first year I am beginning to learn to live without “Instant Gratification” that this app and cell phones can tend to posses. I’ve been learning to gain back the awareness from the lack of social intelligence I have developed by always “being in my phone.” Learning to be present in the moment without seeking validation is extremely important & it’s way more fun without the false judgment, competition and faux support from others as well as eliminates the anxiety of posting!!! Best believe, your good sis has still been outside tho.. just not as much.. I’m a classy bih nowwww!!
