Save this for your next picnic! Your picnic shotlist for stunning photos š·
The setup: Iām using a @lumix S9 on a tripod (gifted from @bh.creators / @panasonic)
Shot 1:
The Faux Candid
Sit upright and angle your body like so, tucking in your legs. Look away or to the side and gently brush your hair or fix your shirt.
Shot 2: The Top Down
Shoot higher up pointing downwards. Fix your hair so it cascades a bit and read a book or go on your phone. Alternatively you can flip so your body is facing upwards but if you do- make sure to twist your body diagonally to camera for a more flattering angle and angle your chin slightly upwards.
Shot 3: The Detail Shot
For this shot - it should be your point of view. I like usually having three objects on screen to create a triangular shape. Try to position your items to create unique shapes and compositions instead of laying them out in a row. Having items stand upright also gives more dimension than flat items.
Have fun! š and show me if you take picnic pictures this spring š·
