Don't get too tripped up on your progress. I'm going to be ultra annoying about this until the NYC Marathon for you and me. Some of us are probably looking at our progress and side eyeing it. "I wasn't that consistent." "I didn't feel like I gave 100 percent because I had energy post run." "My pace didn't change." "I gained weight during half/full/ ultra marathon training." "I didn't follow the schedule exactly as planned." Eff that noise boo. You did what your body, mind and spirit told you to do. Part of the training plan is accepting that you're not supposed to be perfect. Part of the training plan is to make your mistakes as you train. Part of the training plan is to feel everything.
