there’s no summer like a camp eagle summer! - became the real life antman - burped 87 times in one day - walked over 10 miles (also in one day) - reconnected with my cbstudents family - got a skinned knee!! - blobbed, ziplined, and sherpa’d for the last time as a camper - experienced the incredible goodness of the lord - saw my first scorpion - had my shower sergeant victory lap - realized that my big feelings are a blessing, and that my God is the God of big feelings as much as he is everything else - seen prayers answered camp eagle, i love you. to @amandacarneyyy , thank you for sharing your big feelings and connecting with me through your own struggle, showing that we are made the way we are for his perfect plan. you helped me meet God as the God of my tears. psalm 139:12 “even the darkness is not dark to you; the darkness is as bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.” to @crist.on , thank you for your guidance and vulnerability this week. you helped me meet God as the only true and perfect comforter. psalm 19:1 “the heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork” for the last time as a camper, adios camp eagle! all my love, antman 🫶🏻
