It waits for NO ONE! ⚰️🚡 Telecabin Forcella del Sassolungo, Südtirol, Italian Dolomites 📍 On our 2nd day exploring the Dolomites with our Mothers we headed to Passo Sella, the famous starting point for Sassolungo! Nestled in the valley with 360° views. The famous coffin car was constructed back in 1972 and is still going strong! The Telecabina climbs 493m (7,600ft) vertically and 1522m (1 mile) horizontally. There is just enough room for two inside, with two backpacks but you have to move fast! The ride will cost approx €20 per person for a return (€5 for your dog). An expensive ride, but you avoid an uphill struggle of 4 hours! It’s a labor-intensive lift with two guys packing you in at the bottom and another two guys helping you off at the top!
