It was an honor to be invited to an evening where Friendship, Courage and the Love for Democracy resonated in every corner of the room. A reminder that France and the United States of America came to each other’s rescue when they were needed the most. To be seated next to the formidable Ashley Biden, these three words couldn’t vibrated louder. Her admirable dedication to a lifelong vocation of Social Work can only be done with Love for others, care and immense courage. My luck couldn’t get better but it did when Julia Dreyfuss @officialjld was my other table mate. Which couldn’t symbolize better the sentiment. I learned her grandfather Pierre Louis-Dreyfus fought with extreme courage for the French Resistance with 81 successful mission between July 1944 and May 1945. And we boogied to the genius of @jonbatiste moved by emotions and the profound beauty of it all. There was authenticity and care through every second of the evening. Eyes that souls can be seen thru were in abundance, a child of a storyteller meeting another... My favorite Frenchie @sdelavalette was as ever the perfect date, I gasped for air when I saw that marvelous brain and soul wrapped in the sheer true beauty that shines thru her. She met her President and I saw pride for these two nations she calls home. Thank you Mr President & Dr Biden for an unforgettable night.
