What a difference 3 years makes.... In June 2019 I ran a She Rallies workshop in Birmingham for women who were interested in learning how to deliver starter tennis in their communities. That’s where I met Nalette. She took tennis back to her base in Bradford and has since grown a thriving programme for Muslim girls to play tennis AND she’s started to create opportunities for teen girls and students to learn how to coach and run competitions. I spent a day with her last year in her backyard and can’t begin to tell you what a great job she does. She’s qualified to deliver 9 different sports. And she’s wonderful. A real sporting role model in her community.
