ᴛʜᴇ ɴᴀʜᴀɴɴɪ ɴᴀᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ ᴘᴀʀᴋ . As a child I had a wild imagination. Dreaming of distant lands that were alien to what I knew. I imagined exploring these places, discovering untamed nature. As I started to grow older I dreamt a little less. I started to think that there was no where left in the world to explore this desire. . A little over 2 years ago I was doing research into the Athabasca Sand Dunes Provincial Park, I fell deep into a rabbit hole of all the remote parks in Canada. All the places that are relatively un-explored and difficult to access. Within this research I started dreaming again. I created a list of these places. One of the them was the Nahanni National Park. . I recently got the unexpected opportunity to fly into the park by helicopter, exploring it by air. Seeing the powerful water, the deep canyons and the seemingly endless range of remote mountains. .
