With the start of a new school year approaching we would like to send an early CONGRATULATIONS to the PUA Auditioning Class of 2021! PUAuditions is going into its 5th year and your cohort will be among the first to graduate as a PUA ALUM. When you auditioned back in 2021, you were one of 62 candidates that put their trust in PUA to audition for 20 schools. Because of you and your caliber of talent, we will now be helping over 500 students find their program among 60+ programs this year. The mission of PUA is to re-imagine the college audition process and help you find a safe place to land in an affordable, inclusive and collaborative environment. While our ultimate goal is to help launch you into the industry with tools for success. We have been waiting to make this BIG announcement since the inception of PUA! We have rented out the iconic 54 BELOW for you to have your NYC debut. On January 19th, 2026, we invite any PUA candidate who participated back in 2021 to be part of CURTAIN RISING: PUA ACT II Cabaret. We know that some of you will have Senior Showcases in coming months, but we hope we can fill in the gaps for those who do not have access to a Live NYC showcase experience. Our main goal for this special event is to bring our PUA families together again to celebrate your growth while creating a network of future coworkers as you make your way into the Industry. We are planning for rehearsals Sunday Jan 18th in the afternoon/evening and will have a rehearsal and sound check Monday Jan 19th during the day. We would like you to choose 2 songs for this cabaret ideally we would like these songs to be pieces you love but also songs that best represent who you are and how you would like to brand and market yourself in this industry!
