Joining us that day were the world famous barrel picker Bill “The Woodguy” Dowell and Danny Kahn the Master Distiller, Distillation and Aging Operations Director at Sazerac. We selected barrel B of four. Hence, our ABS Blanton’s “Let it B” was born. This barrel was killer at barrel strength and the finish we experienced that day is still evident, even at 93 proof.
