i got my first real tattoo!! a song title from my birthday twin @dianaross, written in my handwriting & tatted in my home by @artfromlastnight! it feels impossible to describe what all has changed, but i feel more like myself than i ever have these days. i realized a few months ago that my way into self-actualization is through playfulness & fun. i had that breakthrough in therapy & upon leaving the office, realized i wanted to put this song title on me as a reminder. since that day, the thing i’ve taken the most seriously in my life is the seeking of joy! the payoff on my life + spirit has been massive. i know that things will always be changing, downturns are inevitable, and painful growth is necessary. but, hopefully throughout it all i’ll remember to have fun, again & again & again. 💞
