I am so thankful that we were able to make it to a year. Breastfeeding was not easy for me in the beginning. She had a tongue and lip tie that we had to take care of and my PPD and PPA were in full force. I am beyond proud of both of us for making it to this point and feel a sense of peace that we are ready to move forward and close this chapter together.
