Today is the beginning of #aapiheritagemonth and it's only appropriate that I whip out... this shirt from @eastwestplayers with one of my favorite quotes from @iamsandraohinsta ... With all the challenges of the last few years, including the rise of Asian hate crimes, it's important for us to be reminded of the strides in diversity and representation. The little Asian boy with big glasses and a bowl cut (for a brief while) in the 80s could never have imagined movies like @crazyrichasians or @everythingeverywheremovie becoming what they are today. Shows like @freshofftheboatabc were not even a possibility.
