🏳️‍🌈PRIDE 2022🏳️‍🌈 It's the last day of Pride Month and I'm finally going home to Aotearoa (NZ) this weekend. It feels like the end of a big chapter. It's been more than three years since I've been home, but I can't quite believe how lucky I was to be in Taiwan these past years. I was able to legally marry someone I love and build a little life together here, participate in countless amazing events and projects, and spend time getting to know a wonderful and exciting network of friends who give me so much inspiration. We were lucky to not have to deal with covid much until this year. Truthfully it really knocked me out last month so I've been taking it easy and pulling back a bit from drag. I'm really looking forward to reconnecting with all my whanau back home and getting lots of rest for my worn out queer body. REST IS SACRED, DON'T FORGET IT!
