I will never rebuild a relationship with either of my parents. I am still healing. I have not forgiven and I am not at peace. I will never forgive them, but one day I will be at peace. They made their choices and I’ve made mine. Protect your energy. Protect yourself. You and your feelings matter. You do not have to let people have access to you because they’re “family”. Cut the toxicity out and never let it come back.
