BEST time to visit Machu Picchu⛰️✨ The best time to visit is during the dry season between May-September (early October). However, as always, June-August is the most crowded. We visited in mid September and it was perfect! October-March is the wet season with frequent heavy showers. Although open year round, low lying clouds and rain can affect visibility at Machu Picchu. The mountains and views surrounding Machu Picchu are breathtaking when fully visible! Definitely worth all the stairs to get up there 😆 TAG someone you’d come here with!
