Our pop-up at the moment, YAMMAMAN, uses Aizu Momen, a traditional Japanese fabric. Aizu Momen, of all the Japanese cotton textiles, has the strongest regional colors and characteristics of Aizu in Fukushima, Japan- which is an incredibly unique area in all aspects from climate to culture. In that way, Aizu Momen keeps the wearer cool in summer, and warm in winter. Yammaman has a heavy focus on textile waste reduction, and putting care back into the production and manufacturing of clothing- which has been severely lost behind the chase to follow trends these days. The owner and the designer, Ms. Nana Yamazak, takes the time and care to ensure her creations are designed to transcend trends, time, and weather of course!
