My first burn was full of spontaneity, challenges, silliness, beauty, and so much more. I constantly found myself in complete awe of everything around me, the stunning art, the overwhelming positivity, the feeling of true freedom and community, the incredible creativity, and the power of human cooperation. Being completely disconnected for 8 days allowed me to take in so many experiences and reinforced important lessons - among them are: 〰️ The power of giving, with no intention of receiving in return 〰️ How many magical conversations and encounters occur when we open ourselves up to them (and when we’re not glued to our phones) 〰️ Balancing intentions, plans, and spontaneity. It felt like at BM, I was in a constant state of rolling with the changes and not being attached to plans, so this was a great reminder to be in this state, always. 〰️ We are all the same, we all experience life and death - no matter who we are. Life is so precious and short, be patient and kind with each other. We’re here at the same time, riding it together, experiencing it - all the beauty and all the suffering too. Thank you for all of the teachings, Burning Man, and for welcoming me home. ❤️‍🔥
