Last night I had the pleasure of giving an artist talk at an event at @massey_college for the launch of the NXT Chapter in the Upper library. It was wonderful to see my portrait of the late Senior Fellow, Ivan McFarlane installed in the hall outside the library. @ehrohn's collages are installed in the library, highlighting how art can be used to bridge knowledge. The library features books from @adifferentbooklistcc which are highlighted for easy access. I'm proud that my art can be used as a catalyst to help propel dialogue and assist with institutional movements to address anti-Black racism. #gordonshadrach #masseycollege #blackartmatters #representationmatters
