RENT!! (2024) 📍Albany at @cdartsinitiative Now that I’ve had a few weeks to process, I can finally take a moment and share what this past show meant to me. Doing this role at @cdartsinitiative was one of the scariest, most rewarding things I’ve ever done. I know and love Mimi dearly and it’s always an honor to step in her shoes- but this time was different. Learning this entire show in two days and doing it in an immersive audience was one of the craziest experiences of my life. There’s nothing quite as challenging as an actor to not hide behind a 4th wall and to see the reactions and faces of every single audience member. Having to drop in this deeply every single show was a masterclass I’m so grateful I got to take this early in my career. Trusting myself and my body like this was one of the most rewarding experiences and I truly felt like such a badass. I’ve never been more proud of the work I’ve done nor of the people I got to share this stage with.
