A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Jason for being HIRED as a Concessions Cook with Levy Restaurants at T-Mobile arena! 👏👏👏 Even though Jason joined OV’s Pathway to Work Program at the height of the pandemic, he was determined not to let anything get in his way! Jason completed his virtual classes and trained in the kitchen at every opportunity. Jason is now working through T-Mobile events and taking extra shifts to develop his skills as a chef. When you ask Jason’s supervisors, they will tell you how happy they are to have someone who cares and shows up EVERY day ready to get the work done. Jason’s BIG goals include becoming an executive chef. If you talk to anyone who has had the opportunity to work with Jason, they will tell you that they already have reservations booked for his future restaurant. Pathway to Work is a community-integrated “on-the-job” training program that is conducted at a partner job site with daily instruction. While training at the community partner’s job site, each Pathway to Work participant is provided with individualized instruction, job coaching, and work experience.
