i got two words for you 🗑️🗑️🗑️ TRASH CAKE 🍰🍰🍰 New York has a bad rep for being a dirty city, with street trash, street rats, air rats, cockroaches, & you name it everywhere. but can i say… there’s something disgustingly beautiful about it? i thought of my trash cake concept a few days before the event and at first thought it was going to be too crazy, but then figured if I’m going to do this anywhere, @cakepicnictour would be the place to do it at. i wanted the cake to be a hill of nyc trash littered with lollipop wrappers, cigarette butts, classic Anthora coffee cups, black and white cookies, cockroaches, and ofc pigeons. thank you @saltedrye for you & your love of cake! to @bettycrocker @guinnessus and to all of the amazing volunteers who made this event happen <3
