One question I get the most is “When did you start makeup?” I got my first makeup kit when I was 3 years old. It was nothing like the products I get to play with these days, but it was suitable for a sassy, craft and “girly” toddler. My parents have always been supportive of my cosmetic adventure, something I’m really thankful for. But it’s been yeeeaaarrrsss of practice. Glitter was pre-teen Lauren’s best friend because it covered bad eyeshadow blending (pro tip😉) But yeah here’s some progress pics from along the journey :) To anyone trying to improve their makeup skills, here’s my top three tips: 1. Master ONE type of look first, then just switch the colorways 2. Try EVERYTHING out. Formulas, techniques, brands, strategies, everything 3. When following and learning from tutorials, look for someone with similar features/tones, especially when it comes to eye shape and face products
