Meet ‘Shin-Ramyun’, the latest addition to our Materialism series, a special commission for our exhibition at the Hyundai Card Storage in Seoul. Materialism is our ongoing research project, in which we strip down objects we use so regularly but never think about the materials that comprise them. Essentially, everything we make comes from raw materials produced by this planet. What materials go into the car you’re driving, or that phone you’re holding right now? Materialism calls for contemplating how we mindlessly use the raw materials at our disposal and their intrinsic value.
