When updating a Manhattan Renaissance Revival townhouse for two game clients, @murdocksolonarchitects and @cafieroselecthome lovingly restored and repurposed every bit of original detail they could salvage. Shutters became fronts for a kitchen television cabinet; fluted columns are now posts for a custom platform bed; and paneling and molding migrated to new walls as the layout was tweaked to showcase the staircase, which was preserved using balusters unearthed from the trash of a twin brownstone under renovation.
